Sunshine Coast — Personal Renovation Stripping back. Opening up. Beginning again.

We've just started renovating our 80s brick house at Dicky Beach — stripping back the old bricks, opening it up to light, fresh air, and the ocean view.

During demolition we uncovered the original hardwood timber frame. We're recycling this beautiful wood, exposing the rafters, giving the home a modern Spanish feel.

Through this process of opening her up, I've noticed the house's strength and warmth. Almost as if she's beginning to breathe again.

In Feng Shui that's no accident. Our spaces hold energy. When we work with the five elements we bring harmony not only to our homes — but to our own lives.
